We just wanted to flick you a quick email to let you know what a fantastic day our family had today. Lots of informative stalls for the grown-ups, and plenty of animals to be patted and fun to be had for the kids. My only regret is that we couldn’t spare more time and hardly managed to catch any of the stage/tent activities. Mind you, we were there for 3 ½ hours and spent a lot of time speaking to stall holders!Hopefully you’ll decide to run the field day annually rather than every 2 years – I know right now you’re probably too exhausted to even think about it, but hopefully you will give it some thought.Thanks so much for organising such a great day.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that we had a great day on Saturday! It was a great idea and a great event. We traveled up from Charters Towers especially for it and were not disappointed – in fact, I can’t wait for next years SFFD. The only thing missing was stalls selling produce that was being promoted, such as goat meat. There was a guy with a poster showing the different cuts of goat meat, which was very interesting, but I would have loved to have tried a goat meat kebab/burger/ribs/etc. Just my 2 cents worth!! Thanks to all the volunteers that did such a great job, we’ll see you next year 🙂
